Description

Engineering works to reinforce Mordiford Bridge at flood arch No.2 and No.3. The works will involve dismantling the existing parapet; casting a new reinforced concrete core against the existing upstream spandrel wall; extending the new concrete wall into the parapet; and cladding the exposed concrete with masonry to match the existing bridge.
