Description

Re-pollard of two Horse Chestnut trees (Aesculus hippocastanum) back to the established historic pollard points in accordance with BS3998:2010 recommendations. No felling proposed. Reason for works: - To maintain the established pollard cycle. -To reduce mechanical stress and mitigate the risk of limb failure. - To manage the trees in line with their historic and ongoing management regime. -Works will return the trees to their previous pollard heads only, with no additional crown reduction beyond the existing framework.
