Alterations and repairs to the Grade II listed barn to be used as an ancillary residential building to the residential occupation of the main Farm house, consisting of: Internal:- Retention/ repair of internal plinth walls and timber sole plates.- Removal of existing concrete floor at the south end of the barn and replace with 100mm limecrete screed layer laid down over a geotextile membrane, perimeter foam glass insulation and perimeter cork board insulation.- Existing internal earth floor to be retained below a 75mm natural stone slab paving laid down over substructure (depth not known), a Geotextile membrane, a compacted sand blinding and hydraulic lime mortar.- Installation of supporting oak frame and glazed doors to be positioned behind west facing cart timber doors, which are to be refurbished/retained along with the retention of existing bottom post 'slots' on both sides. - Internal infill timber stud wall to existing south facing external timber door that is to be retained fixed shut to create WCs for grounds maintenance staff.- Installation of timber stud walls to form the WCs compartments. - Provision of associated WCs sanitaryware along with water and drainage installations. - Internal roof finished repair following removal of external flue. External- Removal of existing external flue and roof finished repair. - Installation of 3no. Conservation style rooflights.
