Description

The land to the rear of Adrum has been unmanaged for a number of years. This application seeks to remove saplings and bramble growth from the area, primarily to allow the mature oak tree located in the plot room to grow. Clearing the land will involve removing a number of saplings that do not require any specific permission. However, there are 2 young (goat) willows that have seeded from the much larger tree located nearby in the land to the rear of Apple Tree Cottage. These are too close to each other and too close to the main willow to be viable so need to be removed. They are nearing the 7.5cm diameter for a mandatory application, this is simply to avoid any concern about the appropriate process being followed.
