Description

1. T1 - Reducing the crown height and lateral branches back to live wood, with a reduction of approx. 2 - 3 metres crown height reduction and reducing the lateral spread by 1.5-2m, to sound wood. We are requesting permission for the work, as the tree has had substantial squirrel damage leading to significant decay and ring barking in places, an existing nest is leading to consistent damage. The works are proposed to remove damaged branch material in the upper canopy, and reducing the lower lateral growth to balance the tree with the crown height and deadwood removal to maintain the aesthetic shape and longevity of the tree.
