TPO No.515 Tintagel Drive (No.1) Stanmore T2 (T5 in arborist report) Oak (rear of 41 Snaresbrook Drive): Installation of copper-impregnated geotextile root barrier formed of a 300mm wide trench dug to depth of 3.5m. Barrier is to be installed across width of rear garden and as shown on submitted site plans and in accordance with the submitted method statement. Application has been triggered by the need for root severance (of T2 oak) in order to install the barrier. Reason: T2 Oak to the rear has been implicated in subsidence related damage to 41 Snaresbrook Drive. Root barrier is proposed as mitigation and as an alternative to felling
