Description

The proposed development comprises the installation of a roof-mounted solar PV and battery storage system to provide on-site renewable energy generation. The solar PV system will consist of 448 panels rated at 595Wp each, providing a total installed capacity of 266.56kWp. The panels will be mounted on the existing buildings using a rail mounting system specifically designed for the roof type, fixed in accordance with manufacturer guidance and relevant British Standards. All associated electrical equipment, including inverters, cabling and protection devices, will be installed to meet current UK regulations and standards. The system is intended to reduce the site's carbon footprint and improve energy self-sufficiency through increased use of on-site renewable energy.
