Fell 1 no. Alder (T1) of Tree Preservation Order no. 01/1987 W1 Elongated leaning tree with a high formed crown suffering the partial loss of root anchorage due to recent winds. Compression on the underside of the trunk indicative of subsidence and tension on the outer side of the trunk making it susceptible to structural failure if / uprooting should further loading be exerted on the tree. Replacement planting not considered necessary as the homeowner has has underplanted many multiple trees within the vicinity woodland as part of a restocking and species diversification scheme.
