Description

Replacement of existing pitched and vertical slate coverings with new "Cedral" Birkdale 600 x 300 roof tiles (Mock slates), replacement of flat roof coverings with new mineral felt to the upper level window bays and replacement of the upper level ship lap cladding panels with new external wall insulated (EWI) render system. The build up of new felt roof coverings to the upper level window bays are to be increased due to new insulation being installed to meet requirements of the Building Regulations Document L. The new slate roofs and upper level flat roof system to window bays are to extend the building line by approximately 200 mm to improve the roof detail and improve weather protection.
