Please find attached a photo of x2 Whitebeam at Oakfield Court. You can see that over half of the crown has died back and includes lots of large dead stems. As part of routine management we remove major dead wood in the winter hoping that the tree would regenerate but unfortunately it has gone into decline. Its position is clearly high risk to users and the public and feel that we should remove to minimise future risk of sudden failure. These trees have been truncated in the past. If all of the dead wood was removed it would leave only one side with a heavy lean therefore we intend to fell and legacy plant to compensate the loss. Oakfield Court does a large amount of tree cover of which is maintained regularly and surveyed. Please can you register this 5 day notice on my behalf.
