Description

Tree T1 to be felled is a young silver birch (betula pendula) and is approximately 7 metres tall and 200mm trunk diameter (measured at 1.5m above ground level). It is in good condition but requires to be felled as coincides with the desired position of an outbuilding to be constructed (a Certificate of Lawful Development will be applied for separately). There is also a Magnolia T2 on site which will be retained, no works are proposed to T2. A replacement mature specimen T3 (approx 4.5m tall and 120mm trunk diameter) will be planted on the opposite side of the garden in mitigation for the removal of T1.
