Fell to ground level of a Plum Tree (T4) located on the Minford Gardens boundary, subject to Tree Preservation Order TPO/59/10/75.Felling and grinding out of stump required due to presence of ganoderma fungal fruiting body at base of tree, lean of tree towards pre-school entrance, and presence of bacterial canker. Potential of failure from base due to root decaying fungi present, and so would rather remove sooner rather than later due to proximity to pre-school entrance - seeking permission for a 5 day fell.Potential to replant with something more suitable to the available space, for-instance, Amalanchier.
