Description

Erection of a part single, part two storey rear extension following demolition of the existing single storey rear extension; installation of 1no. sun-tube to the rear roofslope; reduction in height of chimney stack (south side); internal alterations to include removal of some of the internal partitions including a bathroom at ground floor level; re-using the 2no. original internal doors in the upstairs bedrooms, replacing new doors that were installed there previously; removal of the ceiling over the first floor landing only, extending the internal walls around to enclose that space from the loft, to allow for natural light and ventilation to the landing and stairs; addition of a hatch door with ladder for access to the storagespace in the loft, and sun tube over the void above the landing; removal of the redundant rear chimney internally and the rear room chimney breast internally only, to allow for extra space.
