T1 Magnolia (Magnolia sp.) - Sensitive crown prune and reshape Carry out a light, selective crown prune to improve form and manage canopy size while retaining the tree's natural habit. Works to include: Remove dead, damaged, diseased and crossing branches throughout the crown. Lightly reduce and reshape outer crown where required, targeting a balanced outline and improved clearance from surrounding features. Reductions to be taken back to suitable secondary growth/branch junctions, avoiding heading cuts and minimising wound size. Maintain an even distribution of crown density and flowering framework; no excessive thinning or over reduction. Reduce by 0.75 – 1m circa T2 Bay (Laurus nobilis) - Crown reshape Reshape the crown to form a neat, balanced canopy appropriate to its setting. Works to include: Selective tip pruning and minor reductions to restore symmetry and contain spread. Cuts to suitable growth points to encourage dense, healthy regrowth and maintain a natural outline. Retain sufficient live foliage to support vigour; avoid creating voids or harsh edges.
