Description

Sycamore previously pruned in 2023 (reference 2022/2826) continues to be unhealthy even though we tried to save it by pruning and we would now like to fell it. The tree is increasingly leaning to the left and if it were to fall it would reach the house as it is so tall. Some limbs of dead wood fell in the recent winds and it is of increasing concern for the safety of our children. It has a large gouge in one side that leaks sap, weakening the tree. Also it is so large nothing grows underneath it, not even grass. As the tree has not improved with pruning, we would now like to fell it completely.
