Description

Partial crown reduction of self planted sycamore tree with a small part of it's lowest branches overhanging my property. This small part of a branch creates considerable damage and nuisance and I would like to have it removed whilst leaving the rest of the tree intact. I believe that removing this small branch will enhance the shape of the tree whilst reducing it's capacity to create nuisance as the branch overhangs my roof and my skylight .During growing season thick sap drops on my roof and skylight making it very difficult to open the skylight because it's seals get glued by the sap . If i leave the sky light open the sap drops on my carpets and furniture creating expensive damage, therefore I'm unable to properly ventilate my room during spring and summer months. Should the work be allowed the shape of the tree visible from the street will remain identical to it's current state because the offending branch is not visible from street level. Although it is rather difficult to give you the precise numbers I can confirm that the length of that part of the branch is approximately 130cm and the diameter 20 cm
