Full planning application to install 7 cycle stands on the footway: (i) 4no. standard Sheffield cycle stands on footway of Parkes St. (ii) 1no. standard Sheffield cycle stand on footway of Waterden Rd. (iii) 2no. large Sheffield cycle stands on footway of Waterden Rd. (iv) 1no. cycle stand to be moved to new location on East Bay Lane. The stands are part of wider public realm improvements on Waterden Rd, Parkes St and Copper St and East Bay Lane. The cycle stands are combined with landscape including 3no. new trees, shrubs and low level planting along length of Waterden Rd. to replace existing cedec areas. A new parallel crossing over Copper St near Waterden Rd will replace a cycle crossing. Bollards will be strategically located to restrict pavement parking making walking and cycling here a more pleasant experience.
