Application Details
Description
T1: Lime - Removal - A mature lime tree, previously pollarded. Base at its widest point approx 42”. Tree has outgrown its location, causing foundational issues to the adjacent wall. Due to its proximity to the neighbouring building (approx ≤3m) a fazed removal should take place, where the tree is removed in 2 stages, spaced approximately 6 months apart. This is to mitigate the possibility of heave to the adjacent building. Stage 1: This will involve removing all branches and crown of the tree, and reducing the height of the remaining trunk by approx 2-3m. A single standing trunk will be left. Stage 2: Approximately 6 months later, the remaining trunk will be felled and removed. Due to the location of the tree, a sectional dismantle will take place, working the tree down in small manageable pieces. The base of the trunk will be left at approximately 6-9 inches above ground level and treated with multiple ecoplugs
