Description
T4 - Sycamore - Basal hollow on north side appears to extend to 5m up the trunk where there is a linear cavity approx 50cm long. Tree quite close to gate and entrance - Fell. T6 - English oak - Mostly dead with only a few springs with foliage. Within falling distance of road - Fell. T9 - Sycamore - Cup union filled with mud. One stem dead and others appear weak. Within falling discance of road - Fell. T51 - English oak - Trunk has wound at 4.5m on south side where branch has ripped out in past. Lower trunk has brown exudate. Crown very unbalanced. - Fell. T55 - Sycamore - Centre of base is hollow with major buttress on either side. Some bark damage at edges of cavity. Dead and decaying wood visible - Fell. T202 - English oak - Very sparse limited crown. Upper stem bends over road - Fell. T204 - Sycamore - Large amount of dead ivy on stem. Very limited crown, one upper branch giving north spread - Fell. T211 - Sycamore - Originally two stems from ground level, one removed. Remaining stem has open cavity on north side 13cm deep. Hollow runs min 50cm up and down. Very slender limited crown - Fell. T33 - English oak - Old tree in centre of site. Many hollows in old knotholes and pruning wounds on lower trunk. Eastern crown lost with major branch break at 3m. Large deadwood in crown.
