Description

Field Maple (T1) - remove half the crown and a significant proportion of the main stem. Create a new pollard at approximately 5m above ground level to reduce the loading on the remaining stem, whilst retaining any epicormic growth. Field Maple (T2) - Crown exposed and unbalanced. Remaining stem has an area of dysfunction with internal decay running the full height of the stem. Reduce the height by approximately 4 - 5m, and lateral branches by 2 - 3m to reduce loading on the stem. (West Horsley Conservation Area)
