Description
Fell and replace two cypress trees at the end of the back garden. These are non-native species Chamaecyparis lawsoniana, ?lawsons cypress?. These trees are getting too tall and casting too much shadow in the garden. Replacement trees will be planted; native British tree Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) and Photinia fraseri 'Red Robin'. Fell and replace one Japanese cherry tree in the front garden. This is a non-native species and is reaching the natural life. The root system is pushing up the driveway paving, the trunk bark is cracking and becoming infected, and the tree has very little energy with lacklustre blossom and growth. This tree will be replaced with another similar medium sized ornamental flowering tree like a Clerodendrum Trichotomum or another cherry tree.
