four lime trees to front of church overhanging public footpath and growing over street light. trees where pollarded five years ago and we are looking at taking the trees back to the previous cut to let light in and clear the footpath as well as the street lights.the trees have put on quite a bit of epicormic growth since they where cut and as a result some of the new shoots are growing over the roof of the church as well as the highway. pollarding the trees will make them smaller and also ensure they produce healthy growth moving forward.this will also clear the footpath and benefit pedestrians using the walkways
