Description
T1 - Quercus roubar - located bottom left hand corner of garden hanging over Lindum road. This tree was storm damaged in Storm Babet. We carried out some preliminary pruning during the storm to make safe. The following works are to complete the job. Remove 1 x large storm damaged limb with large rip - cavity, back to main stem. Crown lift 4 x branches over path and road 3.2 metres above ground level to reduce end weight and manage over public pathway. Branches are currently in the way of people walking. T2 - Fraxinus excelsior - located outside front of house - diagnosed with Ash Die Back. This tree has been showing signs of stress and die back fro some years. We have been monitoring to establish whether the stress is from past building works around the tree and / or Ash Die Back. It appears now that Ash Die Back HAS infected the tree. This was confirmed over the Summer 2023 where I observed the majority (70%) of outer leaves and branch tips had died off. Remove to ground level and grind stump. T3 - Fraxinus excelsior - located bottom corner of garden - diagnosed with Ash Dieback. As T2, this Ash tree has also proved susceptible to the disease and confirm that during Summer 2023, 55% of all outer leaves and tips were dead. Crown dieback was observed throughout the crown. Remove to ground level and grind stump.
