Description

Compliance with condition 3 of approval 22/04072/FULL - Before any Class 5 or 6 unit is brought into use, full details of the noise barrier to be erected along the northern boundary of the site, as detailed in the approved noise impact assessment (11A - NOISE IMPACT ASSESSMENT - CSP Acoustics 06/07/2023), shall be submitted to Fife Council as Planning Authority for prior written approval. For the avoidance of doubt, the noise barrier shall be no greater than 2m in height and shall incorporate significant areas of planting along its northern side. The barrier shall also ensure pedestrian access from Ferry Toll Road is maintained. The approved noise barrier shall be constructed in accordance with the approved details, prior to any of the Class 5 or 6 units being brought into use. The approved planting shall be planted during the first planting season following the completion of the noise barrier. The barrier shall be retained and maintained for the lifetime of the development.
