Compliance with Condition 32 of Planning Permission 19/03702/EIA -WITHIN THREE MONTHS OF THE DATE OF THE PLANNING PERMISSION HEREBY GRANTED, the applicant shall provide a Water Environment Monitoring Plan for the written approval of Fife Council as Planning Authority in consultation with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. The Water Environment Monitoring Plan thus agreed shall be implemented in full thereafter and retained throughout the life of the planning permission, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Fife Council as Planning Authority in consultation with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, the Water Environment Monitoring Plan should draw from best practice guidance contained in Sections 52-54 of PAN 50 'Controlling the Environmental Effects of Surface Mineral Workings' and should cover the following matters:- Assessment of groundwater levels to inform future abstraction timing and requirements, response to the dewatering and water level recovery during restoration. - Monitoring of groundwater levels in the vicinity of Ground Water Dependent Terrestrial Ecosystems to assess the adequacy of mitigation measures.- Monitoring of groundwater quality to demonstrate that site activities are not resulting in pollution of the water environment. - Water quality in the settlement lagoon areas to assess the treatment system performance and prevent any potential impacts to the wider water environment.- Monitoring of any Private Water Supplies found to be potentially at risk from the development and associated dewatering.
