Description

The development involves the "back-to-brick" refurbishment of Irvinestown Fire Station, including a canopy extension to the front elevation with a new curtain walling system and new appliance bay doors similar to existing enclosing the front extension; the installation of a new external insulation and smooth render system to the envelope of the building; re-roofing the station similar to the existing; installation of PV panels to the Eastern most roof plan and battery storage; upgrading all floor and ceiling insulation; replacing external windows and doors; upgrading mechanical and electrical systems throughout including the installation of MVHR units and new electrical radiators and the realignment of internal rooms and flows as well as providing new welfare facilities.
