Description

Proposed amendment to consented Curraghamulkin Wind Farm (K/2008/0334/F (2015/A0200), LA10/2018/1342/F, LA10/2018/0518/F and LA10/2019/0479/F), to reduce the overall number of wind turbines at the site - from 10no. to 7 no., to change turbine dimensions and also turbine tip height (2 no. turbines up to 150m tip height and 5 no. turbines up to 180m tip height). The proposal also includes the repositioning of the previously approved electrical control building and electrical compound, slight amendments to the approved location of the wind turbines, access track routes, hardstand design and other associated ancillary infrastructure, as well as a change in wind farm operational period from 30 years , to 35 years from the date the wind farm is connected to the electricity grid.
