Description

The proposal is to remove an existing conservatory and build a two-storey extension to the existing house. The footprint of the proposed extension is very similar to the existing conservatory.The extension will extend 3.0 metres from the existing house wall and will not extend beyond the building line of the adjacent dwelling (Nr. 16 Delius Crescent).The two-storey extension will have pitched roof, brickwork and windows to complement the existing house details.The reason for requiring planning permission is that the extension will follow the line of the existing gable wall which is approximately 1.2 metres from the curtilage boundary and therefore within the 2.0 metres limit for Permitted Development.A new bedroom window is proposed on the gable end of the dwelling.In all other respects this extension proposal meets PD requirements.
