T165 - Monterey PineSuggested Works: Reduce southern crown aspect over car park by approximately 3 metres, cutting back to appropriate growth points. Knock out any loose pine cones over car park. Remove broken limb.Rationale: The tree?s crown extends over the relatively newly installed parking area to the south. Monterey Pines can be prone to the shedding of limbs from older specimens during severe weather conditions. The species also hosts particularly large cones which, although generally remaining affixed to their parent branches for many years, will easily damage a car roof when they do fall.
