Description

T1 Holly (conservation area)- To cut back boundary overhang. T2 Beech (witin A6 of TPO14) - To fell to near ground level TPO Beech tree located on the frontage. The base of the tree is suspected to have decay/degradation caused by a significant pathogenic decay fungus Kretzschmaria deusta. The species is known to respond poorly to pruning and a substantial crown reduction may bring the demise of this mature beech tree. (See attached report and internal decay investigation report). T3 Sycamore (within A6 of TPO 14)- To fell TPO Sycamore and grind stump. Growing adjacent to boundary wall. Cracking in brick boundary wall. Crown sparser than normal. Apical dieback. Decline suspected. (See attached report). T4 Yew (within A6 of TPO 14)- Crown lift Yew to 0.8m above ground level to allow for access underneath to keep the area clean and tidy. To manage trees crown within proximity to surroundings. T5 Robinia (conservation area)- Remove boundary overhang from small self sown Robinia encroaching on the neighbours driveway. To manage trees crown within proximity to surroundings. G1 Mixed saplings - Remove any self sown saplings including Holm oak, Sycamore and Beech within 0.5m of the pavement edge to prevent encroachment onto the highway pavement and to prevent damage occurring to curb edgings and pathway. The path edging has started to be pushed over and will fail if the saplings are allowed to get bigger here. Crown reduce some of the self sown Sycamore saplings to 2m in height to form a more compact and manageable group. Roots (Copper Maple T31 and Cherry within the conservation area) - Remove any roots that are interfering with the front path. The path has been lifted and a slab damaged. These need lifting prior to works. We can the grind the roots that are causing a problem ready for the path to be reinstated.
