Description
Fell Pine tree (14/A2) Reason for Felling The primary reason for this application is the significant lean of the tree towards my house. This lean, combined with the large number of excessive limbs on the house side of the tree, represents a serious risk. The structural integrity of the tree appears compromised, and I believe there is a high likelihood of it falling and causing substantial damage to my property. Safety Concerns Due to the tree's considerable height and the direction of its lean, it poses an imminent danger to the safety of my household. Falling branches or the entire tree could result in: ? Severe damage to the roof and structural components of the house ? Potential injury or fatality to residents and visitors ? Disruption and financial burden due to necessary repairs and possible temporary relocation Mitigation Plan To address the environmental impact of felling the pine tree, I propose to replant a new lime tree in its place. The lime tree would be more in keeping with the surrounding vegetation and contribute positively to the local ecosystem. In conclusion, while I understand the importance of preserving trees within the Downs Road conservation area, the current condition and positioning of the pine tree present a clear and present danger to my home and family. I am committed to maintaining the ecological balance of the area by replacing the tree with a suitable species.
