Description

This application is for the reduction of 4 trees situated on the grounds of 99 College Road, Epsom. T1- Horse Chestnut ( witin G27 of TPO 45) - Reduce the crown by up to 3m and selective lateral pruning on the lateral limbs to help maintain a natural crown shape and remove the danger of the cavity snapping out over the main road and pavement. (This tree has a very large cavity that can clearly be seen from ground level on the road side just above the crown break). T2- Lime tree (within G27 of TPO 45) - Reduce the crown by 1m all round to bring it back to a natural shape and remove all Epicormic growth and dead wood. T3- Atlas Cedar (G26 of TPO45)- Selective branch reduction to avoid branches snapping out likely due to the length and weight of the limbs. The limb that is growing toward the property should be reduced by 2-3m to aid weight reduction and taken back to a suitable healthy growth point. The two large lateral limbs at around 10m both have cavities at around 5m from the main stem from previous limb failure. Both branches should be reduced by 3m to suitable growth points to prevent future limb failure. T4- Sycamore (Within G29 of TPO 45) - Reduce the lateral limbs by 1.5-2m to re-balance the crown. All work will be compliant with BS3998 standards. Exempt Tree work for felling 1 Ash tree and Pollarding 1 Ash Tree within G26 of TPO 45 (retrospective)
