Description

Tree Preservation Order EL:99/15 - T1 - Plane tree - situated to rear of school playing fields on boundary with gardens of No. 38 & 40 Orchard Avenue. The tree has a height of approximately 10 metres and spread of approximately 8 metres. There is a small wound on the lower stem where a section of outer bark is missing which may prove detrimental to the tree's health in the future. The school would like to install a cricket practice area in this part of the playing fields and these works would impede on the RPA of the tree. Proposed works would be to remove the tree to allow for cricket practice area and then plant a replacement tree in a suitable area on the playing fields.
