Description

Tree Preservation Order EL:18/11 - T1 - mature Lime tree situated in front garden. Tree has a height of approximately 19 metres and spread of approximately 13 metres. Proposed works are to remove stem overhanging neighbouring property and reduce remainder of crown by approximately 1.5-2 metres, leaving tree with a height of approximately 17 metres and spread of approximately 9 metres. Reasons for these works are to remove hazard stem that forms at 0.5m from base of tree with included union and overhangs neighbouring property and to rebalance remainder of tree, reduce end weight and allow light into garden area. T2 - mature Arbutus tree on front boundary. Tree has a height of approximately 6.5m and spread of approximately 7 metres. Proposed works are to reduce height and spread selectively by approximately 1-2 metres, leaving tree with a height of approximately 5 metres and spread of approximately 5 metres. These works are being carried out to lessen end weight of over extended limbs forming from multiple stems at ground level to prevent future failures of stems.
