Esher Conservation Area - T1 - mature Douglas Fir tree situated in back garden of 1a More Lane. Tree has a height of approximately 17 metres and spread of approximately 9.5 metres. Proposed works are to reduce spread of the tree overhanging garden of 3 More Lane by approximately 1-1.5m to previous pruning points and to rebalance remaining crown selectively by 1-1.5m where necessary. These works are being carried out to allow light into garden, reduce end weight of limbs forming from previously topped main stem and to lessen fowling of area beneath from pigeons. After these works overall height of tree will not be affected and spread will be approximately 8 metres.
