Proposals for 40 George Square with the focus shifting to stabilisation and consolidation of the facade for health & safety reasons. We are currently in early stages of exploring options for this which includes a light gauge stainless steel open mesh system offering robust protection against slate failure. This would be tension tight to the slate and windows to secure the fabric and would cover the principle elevations.
