Description

Of the 10 No. chimneys to Teviot Row House, 5 No. chimneys have been identified as having structural defects (movement, rocking motion under a low level of lateral loading). Our proposal is to carry out in-situ remedial repairs to the 2 most prominent chimneys (chimneys 2 & 3); as well as dismantle and roof over chimneys 1 + 4 which are of lesser architectural and visual prominence; and also dismantle chimney 5 and rebuild to a lower level (as amended).
