Description

The proposed works involve alterations to three external dry risers, changing their configuration from ground-mounted to free-standing units. These changes are intended to improve visibility and accessibility for fire services during emergencies.The proposed alterations will not affect or alter the existing elevations of the former Boroughmuir High School building. The recommendation to reposition the dry risers has been made in consultation with both the Planning Officer and the Fire Authority. The revised arrangement will ensure the dry risers are unobstructed and clearly identifiable, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and safety for emergency responders.
