5The replacement of the existing aluminium framed windows on all levels with upnv double glazed windows will ensure better thermal performance and help to reduce the current rate of heat loss therough the building fabric. The curent windows (approx 30 Years old) are at the end of thier life and a number of the windows are also either inoperaable or offer great difficulty in closing once they have been opened. The new upnv tilt and turn windows are sympathetic to the style of the original sash and case windows.
