Description

To restore functionality to fire place by: Keeping the existing original slate mantel piece. Remove open fire inset which is believed not to be original. Make good hearth and fit flue and wood burning stove. This will be carried out by qualified trades person and signed off by them. Chimney Scotland advised inset is not original as can see it has been retro fitted and likely form 1930's. The alcove and hearth for the stove will be tiled in a sympathetic manner to the period of building.
