Description

In 2005 an extension was built onto the back of our property with the appropriate permissions and warrants. An opening into the garden of 345cm x 210cm was created. Into this opening 1x double glazed French doors, with double glazed windows each side (one non openingand one opening) were inserted. Wooden/plaster sills below the windows were made to accommodate the window sizes, and were finishedexternally in 10cm stone cladding. I would like to remove the French doors, windows and timber, and replace with one two-panel lift and slide door.There is no structural work or structural changes required to do this. The size & dimensions of the opening will remain exactly the same. Thepatio door will be a sliding opening, as opposed to the opening of the French door. The number of panes of glass will be two as opposed to2 x in the French doors, 1 x pane in the non-opening window and 2x pane in the opening window. Additionally I would like to replace asmall damaged window to the right of this door (130x70cm). It will be like for like in terms of size and opening. Material for both patio door andreplacement window is aluminium powder coated in anthracite matt finish; previously planing approved and installed by multiple neighbours inthe same street. Neither are viewed from the road or surrounding area. They are situated at the back of the property in a walled garden
