Description

Non Material Variation - the rear courtyard area was noted to have existing cobble setts relaid to suit new levels, however there are insufficient setts to cover the courtyard area. It is therefore proposed that the existing stone setts are limited to the pend area only. Through development with Scottish Water and the drainage design, it has now also been identified that this area requires a permeable build up. It is proposed that Weinberger Aquata Grey permeable paving is used to surface this area, as it is approved for the adjacent Civic Square and Powderhall Nursery / Older Person Housing site. This will be laid in a stretcher bond pattern as per the existing setts.
