Non Material Variation to 18/03996/AMC. Road's inspector has requested the change of raised tables from monobloc finish to asphalt finish due to ongoing issues with roads maintenance at junction locations (highlighted in site layout uploaded) where the volume of traffic is highest. Asphalt is easier to maintain with a longer lifespan. Block was used previously only to delignate from the main road asphalt finish with black chip; to keep this delineation present and easily visible to drivers the roads department have requested these sections now be finished in red chip.Revision 'AB' of site layout shows raised tables in monoobloc finish. This is superseeded by revision 'AC' of site layout shows raised tables in Asphalt / red chip finish, a thick red line has been added to highlight areas where we are proposing this change.
