Description

External fresh air louvres were added to the Closed Barn during the Building Warrant process to comply with the requirement for ventilation for large garages from the Scottish nondomestic Technical Handbook. Following detailed Mechanical Engineers calculation, the louvres on the north-east elevation were replaced with two louvres on each gable end. Their setting out was determined by the existing steel frame, the internal layout and by the restricted clear height on the rear elevation.
