Description

Replacement of existing cladding on front of bungalow, to be extended to cover entire front. Existing cladding comprises damaged and poorly patched wooded cladding, covering a third of front elevation, right of front door. To make the property in keeping with others on Lakeside Ave, it is proposed to cover the entire frontage, using horizontal Cedral Lap weatherboard with a wood grain finish. The property is already a double skin brick insulated building from 1960s and does not require further insulation. The windows are UPVC double glazed and the cladding will be fitted around these and the front door. Cladding will be scribed up to the existing cast-iron vent stack and gas meter box to not affect these services.Existing cladding is dark grey, proposed replacement cladding from Marley Eternity is C18 Slate Grey.
