Description

Prior Notification (Agricultural) - A balanced cut and fill earth moving operation to create an irrigation reservoir. No material will be brought onto of removed from site. Natural clay is not available locally, a High Density Poly Ethylene membrane will provide the waterproof membrane. The works will fall within the ambit of the Reservoirs Act safety legislation. At no point will the height of the embankments exceed 3m above the adjacent perimeter road and runway of Bentwaters air base The embankments are constructed from sand and will be planted with grass. The runway level is +25.0m O.D. the reservoir crest level is +26.9m O.D.
