Description

Creation of two new ponds and one ghost pond restoration, for wildlife benefit. The pond designs will have shallow slopes and be no deeper than 1.7m. Please see design proposals for details for each pond. Spoil material will be spread out around the pond and small bunds will be created on the northern bank, to avoid shading to the ponds. The ponds are being created as part of Natural England's District Level Licensing scheme for Great crested newts.
