Application Details
Description
East of Front garden1 x Holm Oak - Fell to ground level.Reason: Despite carrying out works as per DC/21/0822/TCA the tree remains heavy, diseased and unbalanced although recovered some foliage, it is diseased in two large areas of scarring where boughs fell many years ago, and it is visually rather unattractive and this is unlikely to improve, additionally the tree is almost directly over an important drainage culvert. Removal of the tree will reduce the risk of future damage and consequent flooding of neighbouring properties in Yoxford, as happened in c1993 when the culvert was blocked at another location. Removal will allow smaller daughter trees and yew trees in front garden to thrive.
