Description

Certificate of Lawfulness for existing development/Use: Planning permission was granted on 24th September 2021 NE/21/00791/FUL -'conversion of an agricultural building to one residential dwelling.' Discharge of condition 10 under planning reference NE/23/00129/CND was applied for in June 2022 and determined in February 2023 as no works or development could take place until the scheme for the protection of the retained trees was agreed. The engineering works commenced on the site on 21st April 2023 with the installation of drainage pipework along with foundation excavations and concreting works to reinforce the existing external footings following building regulations approval. Works have commenced on site above slab level, subsequent to the discharge of Condition 7, with the modifications to the structure and exterior of the building to make window openings followed by the installation of those windows (in accordance with drawing 7078 PL05). The existing permission would expire on the 23rd September 2024. A Certificate of Lawful development is sought to confirm that the works on the site are 'live', to allow for funding to be released for the continued conversion of the agricultural building to one residential property.
