Description
T1- Ash- Re-pollard ash to approx 6.5 meters, leaving final height above large cavity as habitat (see photo 1). Tree is severely rotten with a minimum 3.8 meter rotten stem from the large cavity down (see photo 2). Both the mid and lower stem are completely hollowed (see photo 3). Lowest limb growing east is to be removed to keep weight loaded vertically on to stem. This will also reduce risk of damaging outbuilding due to failure. Tree will be left as habitat with the intention to regularly re-pollard it to manage it's deterioration safely. T2- Oak- Crown raise to 5m and remove single small branch growing north towards house window- To improve light in to the house and remove any epicormic growth.
